Numărul total de carduri active a crescut semnificativ până în iunie 2024

La sfârșitul lunii iunie 2024, România a înregistrat un total de 22.420.841 de carduri active, conform datelor publicate de Banca Națională a României (BNR). Aceasta reprezintă o creștere de 669.038 de carduri comparativ cu sfârșitul anului 2023.

Dintre acestea, 22.133.849 de carduri erau destinate funcțiilor de numerar, ceea ce arată o creștere de 584.162 de unități față de luna decembrie 2023. Această expansiune a numărului de carduri active sugerează o tendință pozitivă în utilizarea sistemului bancar electronic, indicând astfel o adaptare continuă a populației la metodele de plată moderne.
