Metinvest finalizează achiziția fabricii ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iași

Grupul ucrainean Metinvest, controlat de Rinat Ahmetov, a finalizat pe 16 decembrie 2025 achiziția fabricii ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iași, specializată în țevi structurale sudate. Aceasta reprezintă prima investiție directă în producție a grupului în România, marcând o extindere importantă a activelor industriale în Uniunea Europeană, potrivit %source%.

👉 Capacitatea de producție și specializările fabricii

Fabrică din Iași dispune de o capacitate maximă de producție de 240.000 de tone pe an și servește sectoare precum construcții, infrastructură, inginerie și agricultură. În prezent, aceasta include cinci linii de producție, două linii de tăiere longitudinală și două linii de acoperire.

Metinvest intenționează să integreze treptat unitatea în structurile sale de producție pe parcursul anului 2026, asigurând astfel continuitatea activității și optimizarea proceselor industriale.

👉 Măsuri privind angajații și aprobările tranzacției

Grupul Metinvest a precizat că va respecta toți termenii contractelor de muncă existente pentru angajații din Iași, garantând stabilitatea forței de muncă locale și un mediu de lucru sigur pe termen lung.

Pentru realizarea tranzacției, Metinvest a primit aprobările necesare din partea Comisiei Europene și a Consiliului Concurenței din România, după un proces riguros de negocieri și evaluare a investiției străine.

Conducerea grupului a subliniat că poziționarea strategică a fabricii, la aproximativ 600 de kilometri de Zaporojie, va facilita aprovizionarea regulată cu materii prime și va asigura o integrare eficientă în lanțurile de producție ale Metinvest.

Astfel, achiziția consolidează prezența companiei în Uniunea Europeană și contribuie la dezvoltarea capacității industriale în regiune.
